MEET JUSTINE MURPHY

Founder, successful entrepreneur, cookbook author, podcast host and journalist, Justine Murphy is a business powerhouse and the driving force and CEO behind international company and brand, mymuybueno.

With a passion for food and people, Justine began her career working in restaurants at the age of 17, working her way up to restaurant management in London. She then followed her passion of cooking and left to pursue a career as a private chef on super-yachts cooking for some of the world’s most influential people. In this time she accomplished her Cordon Bleu qualification at Tante Marie.

Pushing the boundaries

With a wealth of experience and a strong desire to build, create and inspire, Justine began her entrepreneurial journey in 2011, founding mymuybueno, a private chef recruitment division for super yachts and hand-selected chefs across the globe. In an ever-evolving industry fuelled by creativity and passion, Justine is at the forefront and is constantly pushing the boundaries and expanding.

More than a decade down the line, mymuybueno is now the largest private chef agency in the world and has cemented itself as a destination for luxury food and lifestyle with a network of high-profile clients. Acting as an umbrella brand and one that encapsulates all of her core values, expertise, and experience, Justine has launched MACA – Academy of Culinary Arts. Dedicated to culinary training for chefs alongside incredible guest chef courses, MACA upholds the mymuybueno high standards and will nurture individuals to achieve gastronomic excellence.

Never resting on her laurels

Creating her own lane and seeking a new challenge, Justine founded mymuybueno Women in Business and mymuybueno Chefs Get Personal podcast. The latter is centred on celebrating, empowering, strengthening, supporting and motivating women in business. Following a popular run, the show will return for a fourth series later this year. The former sees Justine interview chefs – from rising stars to Michelin stars – the same questions with very different answers. Possessing a strong sense of purpose, Justine is committed to inspiring others with her work ethic, ambition and vision – all while raising her two young boys.

A well-respected presence within the hospitality landscape, not only with chefs, but with restaurants worldwide, Justine has published a cookbook, and also writes and sits on the council for Rolling Stone.

Never resting on her laurels, Justine continues to navigate the entrepreneurship rollercoaster, all while ensuring her ride is a smooth, successful one.
